Leaches.....

You know the ones.......they come to your house and sit around looking hungry.  The subject comes up and they jump right on it.  Needless to say, they aren't there to offer to take you out for dinner.  They are expecting you to cook them dinner or take them out to eat. 
Then there are those, who go to local bars and sit around looking at people in hopes of getting a free suds.  They don't have any money to buy beer or a drink but will buy a coke or sprite in order to be able to sit there and wait.  Those looks they give each person that walks through the door irks me to no end.  Don't have any free food sitting out because they will be the first one's in line to help their plate. 
I know of one person who is such a lush when it comes to food that, the bartender had warmed a plate she had brought from home for her dinner while she worked.  In walked a customer, so she left it sitting on top of the bar, while she went to serve the new customer.  When she came back around to where her food was, there sat that person chowing down on her food.  Mind you, this person didn't ask if they could have it, and if it was there for patrons to eat.  Oh and your lucky if this person will ever give you a tip........mostly never.

Elderly?

Because they had no reservations at a busy restaurant, my elderly neighbor and his wife were told there would be a 45-minute wait for a table. 'Young man, we're both 90 years old, ' the husband said. 'We may not have 45 minutes.' They were seated immediately.

Old?

Your sweetie says, 'Let's go upstairs  

and make love,' and you answer,  

'Pick one; I can't do both!'

Water

 How many times have you walked what seem to be a block, before you could find a water fountain to get a needed drink?  It's not that easy to find when your out in the public buildings?  I notice that the children can always find them and hang on them endlessly.  It would be nice if these buildings could install more  Wall Water Fountains  which we could find faster.  I suppose that would make things too easy and then the children would have more places to play.

Phone Service

It's always something to add extra charges to your bill.  I can't think of all the stuff these phone companies can tack on to your phone bill and still manage to stay within the government limits?  There's always tax for this or a fee for that to make your phone service not as much fun as it should be.  I wonder just how hard it will be to have all this wrapped into one, in a few years?  It's scary.

America Wake Up

Our nation is quickly becoming “Regulation Nation” under the policies of the current Administration, and the effects have been devastating to our country.  These regulations might be comical if they weren’t keeping Americans out of work and preventing our economy from recovering.  The high price of federal red tape costs American workers their jobs.  We can either decide as a nation that we need a bigger government, more regulations, and fewer jobs, or we can cut the red tape, reduce the size of government, and put the power to create jobs back in the hands of American businesses and the private sector.

Home Repairs

Recent storms along the eastern states left damage which will be around for awhile.  Some people were injured and others lost their lives.  The areas hit will be in need of home repairs, because of the storms damage. The workers will be able to find good sources of needed  replacement windows hampton va
 to construct sturdy homes once again.  Many people have been without power and are using generators to help ease the stress from the heat and humidity.

Rain

Here we have a nice small shower this morning, with no bad winds or storms.  This is a good thing and we certainly need all the rain we can get.  The only draw back will be the mosquitos which are giving us hell with the West Nile Virus.  I haven't been able to mow the yard and the grass is getting higher each day.  I must go and buy some of that damn high gas in order to mow the yard.  Guess it can wait another day or so until the ground drys up a bit.

No Win

Well, I tried to grow a vegetable garden this year, but the soil wasn't ready in time so, I just made do.  Then the rain stopped, and the ground dried out and cracked open.  Then it rained again and gave us the damned mosquitos, which are carrying the "West Nile Virus" again this year.  Now the grasshoppers have devoured what's left of the garden and the only thing left growing, is the okra.  Makes you just want to say "fuck it"!
