The Eagles, won the Super Bowl, I hear, and that makes the 1st time, they've ever won it.....Congrats, to all those up in Philly.........I'm sure your very proud of your team........ :)

Cement Trucks Again?

 

Well, this is the 3rd time in the last 2 weeks that we've had these things, coming down the street.  I tell you, if your street is in bad shape, and you vote for the City to purpose a contract for a new street, etc..........well, here's some of the crap you'll be putting up with, for several months.......not a good time...... :)

Just Deal

At 6:20am,, still dark outside, the damn concrete construction crew, starts arriving on our street.  This one heavy duty pickup, kept trolling back and forth in front of my house.  My bedroom is in the front of the house, so I can hear most of the traffic as it goes by.
I noticed this particular one, making more that one pass by, and getting tired of the loud noise, I got up to see what was happening.  Here he was burning up my driveway, backing in and out trying to turn around and go back down the street.  Finally, he headed down the street, which I THOUGHT, was the end of the noise.  Oh but nay, here he came again, and this time, he slowed down in front of my house and started to try and park in the muddy access area, where it rained the night before.  Not being able to get out of the street well enough for traffic to pass, he backs up again and pulls straight into my yard, in front of my bedroom window, with lights blaring in, and his loud engine, grunting as he tried to get in the spot. 
That was it!  Out of my bed I flew to the front door and out it.  Straight to the front of the truck in his lights, I screamed at him to "Get out of my damn yard"!  I'm sure it took him off guard, but he slowly moved backward and eased up the street away from me and my house.  
Frankly, I am tired of them parking anywhere they wish without asking permission of the owners.

SECURITY!

I gotta get me two of these! One in English and one in Spanish. Wouldn't want to be called racist, as I'm an equal opportunity shooter . . .

Leak?

Got up this morning, to wet carpet in the laundry room.  I remember hearing a drip sound ever so often this week, while standing by the washing machine.  Didn't realize what was happening, since I wasn't expecting anything to happen!  :(  Either way, it's there and the stuff on the floor near it, is soaked as well.  Just another day in paradise!

Drawers

Just Quit It!

You want to stop immigration. Quit hiring them.

 Stop paying them. It's illegal to hire illegals.

Quit hiding them in your churches, in your 

homes, in your businesses.

 Quit buying their women, their drugs and 

their entertainment.

 We do not need the mouth of Trump to

accomplished this.

 We need to be proactive ourselves. 

Quit sharing our resources, start saying no

 and stand on that.

Deportation costs are high and is time 

consuming. 

They will go back on their on if we quit

 waving  

 the almighty dollar in front of their eyes.


 Quit complaining. Pick up phone and report 

them.

Again?

It looks as though the young generation just can't handle money, fame and the life that goes along with it.  The late Houston's, daughter Bobbie, has now found the same demise as her famous mother.  It's sad to see these things play out down through the years.  You know that it takes a strong person to live in the sight of cameras daily, and still maintain a sense of value and quality life.  Someone so young can be overwhelmed by the pressures that comes from this type of life.
My condolences to the family and friends who once again watch along her bedside as she makes her progression or regression of life.

DRAMA!

I swear to God, I don't see how some people can live in a day to day home full of drama?  It never ceases to amaze me how every time someone spits at the people across the street, "911" gets called!  Do they need attention that bad?  In the last 2 weeks the police have been to that house at least 10 or 12 times.  If it's not grandpa, picking a fight with the roofers, working on their roof.  It's him calling about one of the kids who have seemingly been mistreated.
Now, the grandchildren are following suit, with their needs of attention.  Today, the police have been over there 3 times and the last time it was the grandson, involved.  Seems, him the the boy next door were not getting along.  This is just "kids" being "kids", since these 2 boys look to be 11 or 12 yrs. of age.  Go figure?
This family needs a lot of attention, I'd say!  Whew!

A Summer Thing
