Cement Trucks Again?

 

Well, this is the 3rd time in the last 2 weeks that we've had these things, coming down the street.  I tell you, if your street is in bad shape, and you vote for the City to purpose a contract for a new street, etc..........well, here's some of the crap you'll be putting up with, for several months.......not a good time...... :)

Just Deal

At 6:20am,, still dark outside, the damn concrete construction crew, starts arriving on our street.  This one heavy duty pickup, kept trolling back and forth in front of my house.  My bedroom is in the front of the house, so I can hear most of the traffic as it goes by.
I noticed this particular one, making more that one pass by, and getting tired of the loud noise, I got up to see what was happening.  Here he was burning up my driveway, backing in and out trying to turn around and go back down the street.  Finally, he headed down the street, which I THOUGHT, was the end of the noise.  Oh but nay, here he came again, and this time, he slowed down in front of my house and started to try and park in the muddy access area, where it rained the night before.  Not being able to get out of the street well enough for traffic to pass, he backs up again and pulls straight into my yard, in front of my bedroom window, with lights blaring in, and his loud engine, grunting as he tried to get in the spot. 
That was it!  Out of my bed I flew to the front door and out it.  Straight to the front of the truck in his lights, I screamed at him to "Get out of my damn yard"!  I'm sure it took him off guard, but he slowly moved backward and eased up the street away from me and my house.  
Frankly, I am tired of them parking anywhere they wish without asking permission of the owners.

4 More Police Lose Lives

I know most of the American people are tired of this crap.  It's not nice and it's downright cruel, to be doing it during our national holiday.  Thanksgiving, is a time to come together and be thankful for what we have.  These 4 people, will never be able to do this again.  Their families, have lost a valuable member, and their friends, will be lost without their presence. 
How can someone be so mean, and hateful to kill a person they don't know, because they wear a "police uniform"?  It's a sad time for America, and our people can't seem to get them to stop. 
Our police are jumpy, scared and aware of the situation they are in.  Would you want to be a target, for these idiots?  Unreasonable idiots, are roaming our streets, seeking whom they may devour.  I'm scared..........are you?  Something has to be done, to protect the American people, who are trying to do the right thing!

Riots.....

I can't believe the crap that's going on about the Presidential Election.  It's just plain, crazy the way these people are being so obnoxious.  We didn't act stupid like that when they elected, Obama two times.  It's just a shame, the way these people are getting attention, by all this rioting in the streets.........grow the fuck up.........I'm sure your parents are really proud of  your actions, you spoiled rotten brats!

It's Gone

Lately, I've been shopping for another car.  What kind and where doesn't seem to be the problem, but when you get stuck on a certain type or brand and everywhere you look, there's one in your face.  Well, it comes to the point that it's the type you want.
I saw a car parked at the side of one of our local streets.  It was for sale and would  have been one I could have made do with.  When I finally decided to stop and check the price of it, the damn thing was gone.  Waited too long and someone else got the deal.  Story of my stupid life!

Wrong Number!

I was woke up this morning by a man who had a accent like from Germany, Russia or somewhere overseas.  He didn't speak or understand English too well, but had enough ability to let me know what he was doing.  It seems he couldn't tell me who had ordered a car that he was supposed to be bringing from MA to Dallas, TX.  The car was supposed to be picked up, but when I kept asking him what my name was, he rattled off something I couldn't even recognize.  Finally, after the 3rd call from him, I told him to call his company and find out what was wrong.  That I certainly hadn't ordered a Cadillac and was not the person they were looking for.  In other words he had the wrong person and the wrong phone number, period!
