Cement Trucks Again?

 

Well, this is the 3rd time in the last 2 weeks that we've had these things, coming down the street.  I tell you, if your street is in bad shape, and you vote for the City to purpose a contract for a new street, etc..........well, here's some of the crap you'll be putting up with, for several months.......not a good time...... :)

Just Deal

At 6:20am,, still dark outside, the damn concrete construction crew, starts arriving on our street.  This one heavy duty pickup, kept trolling back and forth in front of my house.  My bedroom is in the front of the house, so I can hear most of the traffic as it goes by.
I noticed this particular one, making more that one pass by, and getting tired of the loud noise, I got up to see what was happening.  Here he was burning up my driveway, backing in and out trying to turn around and go back down the street.  Finally, he headed down the street, which I THOUGHT, was the end of the noise.  Oh but nay, here he came again, and this time, he slowed down in front of my house and started to try and park in the muddy access area, where it rained the night before.  Not being able to get out of the street well enough for traffic to pass, he backs up again and pulls straight into my yard, in front of my bedroom window, with lights blaring in, and his loud engine, grunting as he tried to get in the spot. 
That was it!  Out of my bed I flew to the front door and out it.  Straight to the front of the truck in his lights, I screamed at him to "Get out of my damn yard"!  I'm sure it took him off guard, but he slowly moved backward and eased up the street away from me and my house.  
Frankly, I am tired of them parking anywhere they wish without asking permission of the owners.

Street Crews

 

This is the biggest mess, they park in your yards, and now this morning it rained and the street was so muddy, you could only slip and slide down it.

 OMGOSH you people with your "killer" comments are just nuts! The kid got out of his car and went toward Tonys car...in a POORLY LIT area. Tony can be harsh at times when the race is going on and the adrenaline is flowing but he's no intentional killer. He's a very giving man and will treat you with the same respect given. I get that people think they know everything but you apparently don't know him.
Move on already.
The kid had just smoked weed, before entering his race car.

Just look at how far she's come!  I promise you it hasn't been easy and she goes to the gym many times a week.  Hey, she's healthy and she knows it, the part that she's also beautiful, is added benefits.  :)
I'm showing you this because she did this the hard way, and suffered a lot of pain during the process.  Had she been on the Skinny Body Care program, I'm sure things would have been much easier, for her.  Also, it probably would have progressed much faster.  Either way, it can be done, and this is why I'm posting this.  EFFORT, is the main word, and if you don't make the effort, then nothing will ever happen.

Power Outage

It was a crazy morning, when I got up.  The power went out right after, I got my 1st cup of coffee and was checking my emails online.  Here I sat in a house that was getting hot, and finding the need to do something that warranted travel in my cool SUV.  The air works fine in it, now that we had it fixed, so I was ready for a ride. 
I made a couple of stops, while out and did the necessary domestic shopping.  By the time I made it back home, the power was back on.  Good thing, cause I would have hit the roads again, if it wasn't.
