Introducing Another Blog.......

An here it is in all it's blazing glory!

"My Life & Your World"

I've been having so much trouble with my oldest blog and I sure hate to destroy it but, the template of the poor thing is about to give up on dealing with me and my updates. It's all messed up and stupid me, can't figure for the life of me, how to correct what I did wrong, or what I moved to the wrong place. I had to build a new blog to accommodate the posts, that are on it, before it totally gives up the ghost on me. So go to the website at http://nitakayeashley.blogspot.com and check it out. Leave me a few comments, if you please and thanks for dropping by. Your approval, will give me more needed traffic, in the future and make me feel like I've done something right, fora a change.

Pro's and Con's

It seems I got a “pro” & “con” atmosphere, on my comments, which is just fine with me. That’s what makes the world go around and gives everyone their own say, and opinions. If everyone felt the same, we’d have an awful boring world.

Here’s one:

This guy is really into his politics.
>I find it humorous that you don’t believe a man who has talked about all of his truths that most politicians would never announce, let alone admit to. Yet, you sit here and support one of the sneakest politicians out there, who has been proven to be doing a lot of dirty politics, and now it has been proven the Clinton Campaign was the one who was talking to Canada, not the Obama campaign, one that has been going to all new lows in the primary race. I find it funny that you cannot see that Hillary is not in this race for the nation, she is in it for herself, and I say this because she is still in the race, even though it is mathematically impossible for her to win, unless Obama gets only about 10% of the votes and Hillary gets 90%. With that said, I am sure you know that isn’t going to happen, so all she is doing is attempting to swing the super delegates to give her the win, which then completely destroys the democratic process. Do you really want someone elected who will go to no ends to achieve victory? That’s destroying the very foundation this country was built on.
If you’re tired of the primaries, then I suggest you talk to the candidate you support and kindly ask her to drop out.
Yes, it is true Obama lost, but in the end, he only lost 4 delegates to overall. So, Hillary is still far from winning and unfortunately for those of you who support her, and clearly from this post, only because you want Bill to be in the white house again, according to the media and the math, it is pretty much impossible for her to win the primary election to go on in November. Really, when you think about it in technical terms, though he “lost” he actually gained a ton of votes. He was down by 20% in the two big states and almost won Texas (and very likely only lost because of cross-over replublicans trying to get Hillary to win cause she’s easier to beat in November.) So, this should tell you that Hillary is actually still suffering if he was able to pull 10% to 17% of her once voters over to his side.
And to answer your question, No Billy will not be vice-president.

Here’s another one:

>If you live in Texas you are even more tired of the Obama overexposure. We have him on TV all the time. We get calls from his supporters at lunch, dinner, at night. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I don’t care. Leave me alone. I now can’t stand Obama. I am not voting for him.

Bill Tries His Best........

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton addresses the Democratic ... It's Bill doing his duty, as his wife did the night before. I'm really sorry for these two, for all they've had to endure. This is a big let down, by all Hillary's supporters and they realize what has happened here. It's a new day and America is letting down on their standards, when it comes to making sure the Democratic Party is unified, rather than stand your ground for what you fought for such a long time. I believe she was put in a "rock & hard place", as Bill has been. Save your dignity, is where they found themselves and look on to the future in politics. Bill, may not be able to hold office again, but Hillary may make it yet.

Do You Believe It?

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., addresses the delegates ...
AP
Tue Aug 26, 11:08 PM ET
I don't believe it for one minute.........not Hillary.....she's been told to do this to keep the party together, and I don't like it at all. I felt really sorry for her and the front she had to put up, to give the unity that the Democratic Party needed. It really wasn't an easy thing for her, but she's a good stateswoman, and advocate of human rights, so I suppose, she knew this was the only right thing to do. I'm more proud of her for being the unifier, instead of the destroyer. I'm not sure I could have been as congenial as her and her supporters, in all this mess. Here's to you "Lady", you sure know how to bowl them over good! I'm sure that lump in your throat was a hard "swallow", and you had to eat a lot of "crow", to pull this one off. We knew you would, and you did! I saw that your "hubby" was proud of you too, and knew what you were dealing with as you spoke.

Dealing With Loss

The condition of being deprived or bereaved of something or someone is considered loss. So loss can come in many different realms. A natural disaster, a war, a crime against persons, a car wreck, are all forms of loss. It's a subject that can happen in someones' life at any given moment. The many aspects that can be involved, are phenomenal beyond words. The experience's are paramount with the loss involved. Dealing with loss, is normal and can be a time of learning, adapting, and growing.
Someone once said, grief is a normal and healthy response to bereavement, not an illness. Its symptoms are painful, but they serve an adaptive purpose. Grief is emotions and sensations that accompany the loss of someone or something dear to you. Loosing a loved one, is inevitable in one's lifetime, it's going to happen and there's no getting away from it. Grief often weighs you down with sorrow and other emotions, draining you of the energy to go through your daily routines. People who have trouble coping with the setbacks of daily life will have a more difficult time recovering from a serious personal loss.
A sudden loss can be even more difficult to deal with, as in the death of a child, a fatal heart attack, an accident, a murder. Grief is a normal reaction to loss, with its symptoms diminishing over time. On the other hand, trauma is a disabling reaction that can block the grieving process, disrupt your life, and leave you psychologically vulnerable. Grief shouldn’t be dismissed as less important than that of an immediate relative, a person needs the support of people who care about them.
There are many support groups for people who are grieving, including specialized groups. Wherever the support comes from, accept it, don't grieve alone. Trying to suppress your feelings in the hope that they’ll fade with time won’t work. Allowing your emotions to surface in order to work through them is the healthy way to handle it. You need to talk about the person or property you lost, talking out your grief is part of your healing process.
When grief continues to be a disruptive and debilitating presence, you may be suffering from depression. That's when you should seek a professional for assistance, in your time of need.

Are You Like Your Mom?

You and Your Mom Are Completely Different

At times, it seems like you and your mom aren't even related.

You often wonder how two people from the same family can be so different.

As the saying goes... you can pick your friends, but not your relatives.

The Sorry Person

It's gotten to the point that you have to kiss the backside of someone in order to have something you really want. I'm tired of it and wish I hadn't of wanted it. Most of the time, I stand up for myself and don't let people run over me. This time was different and now I feel like a fool. I suppose the time will come when, that person will get back what they deserve, but probably not in my lifetime. That person is a youngster, compared to me and hasn't learned that you can't go around spouting off and making life miserable for others. Satisfaction, on their part made me very unhappy and I can't change what they did, I can only blow it off and go on. My consolation, is that this person, will get it back one day.......3 or 4 times worse. I feel sorry for them, when it happens.

Ideas?

A friend emailed this to me and it was so witty, I had to share it with you........

Hillary Dissed by Obama.

Well, it's come down to the "nitty gritty", and Obama, who let everyone think that Hillary was his pick for VP, has once again, thrown a wrench in the cogs of politics. All those times, he met with her was just a show, to throw all of us off and make us think that he was doing something right.
US Democratic presidential candidate Illinois Senator Barack ...
He didn't even have her financial statement requested like he did the other five possibilities. I realize that many people didn't like Hillary's idea of what we should do with our America. I also realize that if we vote him in, we will be watching a "free for all", between him, the VP and the Senate, about how to run this government. Everyone is going to tell him what to do and to prove he has power, he will do the opposite, just to see what real power, he does have. This will be the worst "free for all", we've seen in awhile. I feel sorry for America, and the people, who he elects to his cabinet. The future is going to be a big bust and that's all it will be. He don't care about us, all he cares about is winning the election and then settling down to moving into the "White House" and beginning to make our lives one living "hell". Wait an see!

I'm Not Dead

The Wicked Witch is Not Dead!
There's this place called Neptune Society that's trying to get me to enter a contest for a PRE-PAID CREMATION. Then there's this other place, close to my home that's offering me pre-paid funeral arrangements, along with a lot to bury me in, a headstone and perpetual care. The motto: Simple, Economical and Dignified........yeah, right. Ok.......now what's the deal.........HELL..........I HAVE TO DIE! I'm not ready and they can kiss my grits..........that's how I feel about their deals! Where does the Dignified come in?

Biden is running mate.........

File picture shows US Senator Joe Biden (right), welcoming Presidential ... Obama has chosen Biden, as his vice presidential running mate, not Hillary. Senator Joseph Biden, 65, brings decades of national security experience to the Democratic White House ticket. Obama said he wanted a running mate who would challenge his thinking, well he's got one. Joseph Biden's tendency to speak his own mind — and speak and speak is well noted. Since Obama is lacking in foreign policy and defense issues, Biden will be the strength for those areas. So, now we wait to see, who McCain will pick and then the race is on. America, are we ready?

THE PERFECT WIFE

This is a hard one for me to write about, since I've been a wife several times, and I still haven't gotten it right. It seems you have to be a mother, friend, lover, cook, domestic servant and whatever else he wants you to be. I fail to find being an individual in any of those categories.
Actually, that is what most men want from women and once in awhile you find a refreshing person, who actually likes his woman to be strong and responsible, with plenty of personality. "The Perfect Wife", is one who is dependable, moral, loving, and giving. We just can't be anything else, it's built in to our beings. Women are raised by their mother's to be the best they can be as a woman, so they won't have to worry about other women, trying to snatch up their man. Sorry, ladies I know this hasn't worked for many of us.
I can remember going to high school, and making sure that I took "Home Economics",(home making) to be sure I had everything going for me. I was going to be the best at being everything a man could want, for "The Perfect Wife". I knew how to cook, clean, do laundry, needle work, and still be a woman at night. Two babies, later I was a total wreck and barely dragging myself around during the day. Nights, had become engrossed in sleeping, and not much of anything else. By that time I had totally lost the person, I was before I became "The Perfect Wife".
I believe some ladies, have it easy and are natural women of the home. Some women like myself, really have to keep at it, just to scratch the surface.
I believe, that being loved is the best activator of a woman's actions, toward her family. When she is loved and she feels it, then she becomes the giver, that her heart has been hiding. When a woman, is happy and loved she will climb mountains, swim oceans and all the other wild things, to be with her people/family/man. She is the strength, when your down, the helper, the friend, the mender, the mother, the companion, the lover just to mention a few.

EVERYBODY WANTS ME TO DIE........

I'm so tired of getting these offers for burial at different facilities. It's like they know I'm older than most people and they think I'm going to kick the bucket any day. So, they are trying to get in on the band wagon and get the money for my death.
Computer Speakers

Most of the time, you can get a set of speakers, included when you buy a desk top computer. Lately I've noticed, that the electronic stores, sell just the tower(modem), keyboard and mouse. That leaves you to buy the monitor and speakers. Xoxide, has a large variety of speakers and many other computer enhancements. I have the speakers, that came with my package deal, when I purchased my computer. Xoxide offers computer speakers that can take your audio experience to a higher level of entertainment. You can get 2.1 or 5.1 speakers for your PC to enhance your gaming or music with surround sound. Some of the brands are Logitech, Razer Mako, Logisys Alien, Sicuro and other designs. Now, that's a cool idea if you like your games or music up loud. My son can blast you right out of the house with his surround sound speakers. I suppose we older people can't really enjoy being blasted out of the house.
There's so much to see on this website, so look around and find the speakers, that will give you the amps you need.

Shawn Johnson gets the Gold

Congratulations are in order for Shawn Johnson, who won the gold in the beam competition.
Shawn Johnson of the USA smiles during the medal ceremony for the Women's Beam Final. She won her gold medal with a nearly flawless routine on balance beam. Johnson’s smile had won everyone over, the mostly Chinese crowd roared like one of their own had prevailed.
Plagued by a headache before the competition, she nailed her routine that was chock-full of difficult tricks, earning a 16.225.
She's a great little competitor, and deserved the gold.......since she had her share of silvers'.

Ellen & Portia are Wed......

Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi
Kristian/BD/DS-ISM/Flynet
"The whole afternoon seemed light-hearted." Wedding plans have been in the works for months. DeGeneres said she hoped she and de Rossi would be "together the rest of our lives." How do I feel about it? I obviously feel like it's long overdue". I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote and segregation and anything else that seems ridiculous that we don't all have the same rights," DeGeneres said.
De Rossi, 35, wore a backless, light pink dress, and her hair in a loose updo. DeGeneres, 50, dressed in pants, button-up shirt and vest — all in white.

Phelps v Spitz

getty
Congratulations, to our new Olympic winner, who beat out the record that has been held by our Mark Spitz all these years.
Phelps’ history-making eighth gold medal of these games, won some races by ridiculously large margins, others with the closest of finishes. In his second Olympics in Beijing, he won eight golds and set seven world records.
Spitz’s performance was surpassed by a swimmer fitting of this generation. He was not pushed so hard. His closest test in Munich came from fellow countryman Jerry Heidenreich who trailed him by 0.43 seconds in the 100m freestyle. In his second Olympics, the 1972 Games in Munich, he won seven gold medals, breaking the world record in each event.
Both swimmers are American, and we can be very proud looking to even more from our new winner in the next Olympics.

Bad Acquaintances

Just when you think things are going right and your life is rolling along well, something always happens and throws you a curve. I have been doing a part-time job recently and never thought anything so stupid could happen to ruin a good deal. Dealing with the public all these years, has given me a lot of experience and so I didn't think I wouldn't be able to deal with this problem.
Today's young people are truly obnoxious, loud and unruly, to say the least. This was the type of situation, that caused my demise. I wasn't ready for the onslaught this person, attacked me with. Needless to say, it made it's rounds at the place I worked and I was let go, because of back stabbing, jealous and opportunistic people. I am glad in a way that it's over, but my integrity and feelings are involved. I feel letdown, by the boss and the other co-workers. This shouldn't have happened the way it did. I don't like it but can't change what has happened, so I will go on and make the best of a bad situation.

Swede Disqualified.........

Swedish wrestler was disqualified plus stripped of his bronze medal Saturday for dropping the medal in protest because of a loss at the Beijing Olympics. During the medal ceremony, the Armenian-born Abrahamian—who also lost a 2004 Olympic's semifinal match because of a disputed call—took the bronze medal from around his neck and, angrily, dropped it on the floor and he walked away. IOC executive board ruled Abrahamian’s actions were considered a political demonstration and a mark of disrespect. It was said that he violated two rules of the Olympic charter, one which bans any type demonstrations and another which commands respect for all Olympic athletes.

Angry Swede

Bronze medallist Ara Abrahamia…
Reuters - Aug 14, 6:08 am EDT

Well, I've seen just about everything now. Swedish wrestler Ara Abrahamian, threw down his medal in protest on Thursday after his bid for Olympic gold was ended by a decision denounced by the Swedish coach as “politics.” The wrestler had to be restrained by his teammates earlier when a row erupted with judges over the decision in a semifinal bout. He said that his team mates called him 20 minutes before the event and begged him to compete. He believes the decision, was totally unjustified.

Farewell Issac

Isaac Hayes Photo Another sad loss in the world of music, has happened today, and it will be one of the largest losses for the music industry.
The sheriff's office, said authorities received a 911 call after Hayes' wife and young son and his wife's cousin returned home from the grocery store and found him collapsed in a downstairs bedroom.

Hayes was born in 1942 in a tin shack in Covington, Tenn., about 40 miles north of Memphis. He was raised by his maternal grandparents after his mother died and his father took off when he was 1 1/2. The family moved to Memphis when he was 6.

Hayes wanted to be a doctor, but got redirected when he won a talent contest in ninth grade by singing Nat King Cole's "Looking Back." Hayes laid the groundwork for disco, for what became known as urban-contemporary music and for romantic crooners like Barry White.

In this July 27, 2001 file photo, Isaac Hayes reacts to the ...

A pioneering singer, songwriter and musician whose relentless "Theme From Shaft" won Academy and Grammy awards, died Sunday afternoon, the Shelby County Sheriff's Office said. He was 65.

You will be dearly missed by friends and all who are in the music world. Farewell Issac Hayes.........
