A Change?

"Dallas Cowboys", loose again..........and what did you expect? They've lost so many season's to this type of thing..........and surely you didn't expect them to win this time.........I've known for quite awhile, that they are too eaten up with themselves, to play a decent season..... It's been this way for a long time.........Jerry Jones.........just can't find the right team players and coach.........No one is playing as a team..........it's a bunch of show boating for one's self..........I guess that's what making a large income does to people like that.......

I bought a bird feeder. I hung It on

my back porch and filled
It with seed. What a beauty of

A bird feeder it was, as I filled it ,

Lovingly with seed. Within a week we

had hundreds of birds
Taking advantage of the
Continuous flow of free and
Easily accessible food.

But then the birds started
Building nests in the boards
Of the patio, above the table,
And next to the barbecue.

Then came the poop. It was
Everywhere: on the patio tile,
The chairs, the table ..
Everywhere!

Then some of the birds
Turned mean. They would
Dive bomb me and try to
Peck me even though I had
Fed them out of my own
Pocket.

And other birds were
Boisterous and loud. They
Sat on the feeder and
Squawked and screamed at
All hours of the day and night
And demanded that I fill it
When it got low on food.

After a while, I couldn't even
Sit on my own back porch
Anymore. So I took down the
Bird feeder and in three days
The birds were gone. I cleaned
Up their mess and took down
The many nests they had built
All over the patio.

Soon, the back yard was like
It used to be ..... Quiet, serene....
And no one demanding their
Rights to a free meal.

Now let's see.
Our government gives out
Free food, subsidized housing,
Free medical care and free
Education, and allows anyone
Born here to be an automatic
Citizen.

Then the illegal's came by the
Tens of thousands. Suddenly
Our taxes went up to pay for
Free services; small apartments
Are housing 5 families; you
Have to wait 6 hours to be seen
By an emergency room doctor;
Your child's second grade class is
Behind other schools because
Over half the class doesn't speak
English.

Corn Flakes now come in a
Bilingual box; I have to
'press one ' to hear my bank
Talk to me in English, and
People waving flags other
Than 'Old Glory' are
Squawking and screaming
In the streets, demanding
More rights and free liberties.

Just my opinion, but maybe
it's time for the government
To take down the bird feeder.

If you agree, pass it on; if not,
Just continue cleaning up the poop.

AMA

I found that the AMA's were going to be on last night and therefore I made special plans not to watch it.  At least I missed most of it and was able to see the Dick Clark memorial, and the final few minutes of the program.  I'm not one to go for all the loud "hiphop" stuff, so being old, I left that to the young people.  Watching a DVD helped my bide my time till most of it was over. 

Justin Wins

Entertainer of the Year, went to Justin Beiber, who chose his Mom as a date for the occasion.  How sweet!  You little ladies have another chance at snatching up the pop idol, since his recent breakup with long time girlfriend.

I visited this website and found beautiful pendants made of the  miraculous medal white gold  that is being advertised.  It looks as though the owners of the website are offering pendants that have a religious theme.  Those of you who enjoy wearing a pendant on a chain around your neck will have many to decide from.  This would be a great gift for Christmas.

WOW

Here it is only 3 days before "Thanksgiving", where has the time gone.  I can't see there being much going on this year in the way of getting together.  Things have fallen apart where family events are concerned.  Mom & Henry are in the nursing home, the kids are all the country, and my sister isn't cooking this year.  So, I'm not cooking either which leaves finding the only place we remember.  The one we stood in line over an hour last year on Thanksgiving Day, to eat a good meal.  Then we went to the nursing home, visited family and departed for our homes.  Yes, I got full and was miserable the rest of the day, but the day was lacking in what I've always tried to promote.  That's a big house full of family and friends with food all over the tables and barely enough sitting room for all who came.  Yes, things will be different from now on.

Flies?

A woman walked into the kitchen to find her Husband stalking around with a fly swatter ... "What are you doing?" She asked. "Hunting Flies" He responded. "Oh! Killed any?" She asked.

"Yep, 3 males, 2 Females," he replied. Intrigued, she asked. "How can you tell them apart?"

He responded, "3 were on a beer can, 2 were on the phone."

What do you think?  Will they win today or loose like they've been doing?  It's been a rough season for the Cowboy's so far.  I keep hoping they will see the light and do what is necessary to finish out the season with some honor.  It's not fun watching your home team give games away, during at the last quarter or last few minutes of the game.  Too many mistakes have taken it's toll on the Cowboy season this year.  Go Cowboys!
