I'm sure you have found that most mortgage companies issue a certain insurance company to pay into escrow for your  home insurance  each year.  I believe there are other companies that can help you with the benefits you need and still give the coverage the mortgage companies want.  You always want to be covered in case some sort of disaster happens to damage your property.  It's very hard to rebuild your property without help from the insurance companies.
