There was a time when my husband worked with a company that would be in a town for a month or two on a job, and I had to find a house or apartment to rent. Makes for an eventful time in your life, when you uproot the family in this manner.
I notice that there are people who like to find houses for rent to take a vacation with friends or family. They all pitch in on the rent and thus have a fairly low financial setup for their vacation, and are able to have family or friends there to enjoy it with them.
