Recall?

Here we go again, with the "food recall", and it's been this way for years.  Can't any of these processing plants get it right?  Why does the public have to suffer because of their inadequacy's?  In just two days, the FDA has told us of a recall on beef and rice.  I imagine it has been going on for awhile, if the FDA is just now doing anything about it.  You can be sure that the plants in question, have been fined several times and given certain time limits to get the problems corrected.  It's just a mess and I don't see any solid solution coming soon.
