I don't know if my grand kids decided to go to the beach or not. My oldest son lives here and my daughter in law, wasn't happy with it coming their way. Neither was I for that fact, but what can a person do? I got an email from them around noon and she said the wind was already bad. It looks like they didn't get hit too hard, and I should be thankful for that. News report says that bathers enjoyed the beach and surf in Virginia Beach, Va., Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, as Tropical Storm Hanna approached the East Coast. I'll bet they got the waves they were looking for.
